Music is a big part of my life; and I listen to music almost everyday. I bet you hear music almost everyday on the radio in your car. I also bet that you’ve been asked what your favorite songs are. That’s hard to answer! So I thought why doesn’t any ask what your favorite album is? That’s exactly what I’m going to answer.

  1. The Black Parade– My Chemical Romance

Even though I’ve been listening to MCR (My Chemical Romance) the longest, this has to be my fifth pick. This album is so far down the list because the instrumentals are very similar in most songs. By far this is my favorite “edgy” album. The lead singer, Gerard Way, is very easily heard throughout the album and that’s a good thing.

  1. Born To Die– Lana Del Rey

I love how almost all her songs on this album are love songs and you don’t even realise it. I also like how her songs are love songs but yet they still have this dark feel to them. I personally think it’s awesome how she loves the guy she’s talking about but it doesn’t get annoying (like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez).

  1. American Teen– Khalid

This album is a lot more lighthearted compared to the other songs on here. Even though I don’t typically like love songs I love American Teen’s songs. Khalid shows that he misses the girl he’s singing about but he’s not annoyingly obsessed with her. He’s not begging her to come back he’s just stating that he misses her and expressing his feelings. He has an amazing voice and uses it very well.

  1. AM– Arctic Monkeys

I love AM and Demon Days the same but I listen to more of Gorillaz’s other songs than just one album. Either way AM has to be my second most favorite album. I love the more “rock” feel to the music. I don’t like how most of the songs sound the same but the lyrics are always different.

  1. Demon Days– Gorillaz

Demon Days by Gorillaz is absolutely my favorite album. I love this album because all the songs are different from each other and aren’t the same. In most albums most of the songs have the same kind of beat and meaning to the words; Demon Days is kinda all over the place. Even though most people don’t like their music being all over the place (genre wise) but I personally love it.

I hope that my silly opinions make you want to consider checking out these albums and artists. Even though you and I might have different tastes in music, you’ll never know you’ll like an artist if you never listen to them.
