Are you suddenly craving pancakes, or any breakfast foods? If you are, then you might try going to IHOP on 2831 W 18th Ave, Emporia, KS. IHOP is a family-friendly restaurant that has various breakfast dishes. If you want to know more about IHOP, keep on reading!

When you first enter IHOP, the restaurant is clean, which is a positive trait. A waiter then gives you menus and leads you to your table. On the table, there are five containers of syrups you can put on your pancakes or whatever you choose. Usually, the containers have been cleaned off but sometimes, not all of them are. Some containers are sticky which isn’t pleasing. I’ve never been to IHOP with the tables dirty, but that’s only the times I’ve been there. I give the overall cleanliness of the restaurant a 8/10.

A lot of things keeping people from visiting IHOP is their service. The last couple of times I’ve visited IHOP, the service hasn’t been the best it can be. Even when there aren’t many customers to serve, the staff seems to be lacking and not doing their job to the full potential. An example of bad serve is: taking your drink order and not bring the drinks back in less than five minutes. An example of good service is: the waiter always checking every ten minutes or so throughout the meal. This is the exact opposite of the negative side, but the service varies. Overall, I give their service a 6/10.

This is probably the most important aspect at a restaurant: the food and prices. IHOP serves mainly breakfast foods like pancakes, waffles, omelets, eggs, bacon, and  much more! There are a couple off foods for people who don’t want breakfast like mac ‘n cheese. The taste of the food is good quality and the amount is generous. As for the prices, everything is well priced and not too much money. If you want to know more about food and princes, here is a link to the IHOP menu. I give the food a 10/10.

Personally, I think IHOP is a good restaurant apart from spotty service. The food and restaurant itself are in good shape. If you’ve never been to IHOP you should try it for yourself! If you want to know more about the restaurant itself, here’s a link.
