Harmony, JR Reporter

Have you ever asked your Mom or Dad what British people celebrate? Well now you know, after you read this story of course! These are the holidays we are going to look at today, Boxing Day, Early May, and Summer Bank. Let’s get started!

Number Three

Boxing Day is a holiday where you celebrate the day after Christmas. You all might already know about Christmas, so I’ll spare the details about Christmas. This holiday is celebrated on December 26th. Christmas is a holiday where you open presents. Boxing day is a day, where you celebrate the the first day after Christmas!

Number Two

Early May or May Day is a day where you celebrate the first day of May. May day or Early May is a springtime holiday. This holiday is celebrated on May 1st. I think these people celebrate Early May to celebrate the new season spring. This holiday is celebrated by dancing, cake, flowers, singing, and much more!

Number One

Summer Bank is a holiday where you celebrate the end of summer. You go swimming at the beach and do summer things. This holiday is celebrated on August 6th. This holiday marks the last day of hurrah of summer break!

I hope you liked the holidays I listed, and celebrate them as well. I thought these holidays were really interesting to write about. I hope you all have Happy Holidays and a Great day!
