Do you know who took the first mobile cell phone call? The first person to take a call on a mobile phone was Martin Cooper. Martin was in mid Manhattan and placed a call to the headquarters of Bell Labs in New Jersey. Ever since then phones have been advancing they used to be just a portable telephone but now they are more and more like computers.

When Apple first had the idea for the iPhone it took them five years to make it. It came out on June 29, 2007. Also, the first iPhone was $499 for 4 gigabytes and for 8 gigabytes was $599. The creator of the I phone was Steve Jobs. and Steve Jobs is truly smart. His IQ is roughly 160 compared to 250 which was the highest scored IQ. He isn’t that far off. Also, after 11 years they have the one of the most powerful phones on the market. And they now have several versions of one of the most powerful phone.

There are 21 iPhones and the list is iPhone, iPhone 3 G, iPhone 3 GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4 S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5 C, iPhone 5 s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 S, iPhone 6 S Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone X R, iPhone XS, iPhone XS max. As you can see there are tons of iPhones, and There are going to be a lot more. According to fortune.com there are 715 million iPhones in use.

One of the most popular iPhones right now is the iPhone 6. This I phone is still pretty new with finger ID. The iPhone 6 is 21% according to Know Your Mobile and is one of the most used iPhones being used today. Also, the iPhone 6 was released on September 19, 2014. 

What about the iPhone makes it better than all other phones.  iPhones usually run and load faster than their biggest competitor Samsung.  The phones Samsung make each year aren’t that impressive but sometimes they can have a breakthrough.  iPhone come out with one or two a year and they are very impressive. Another reason is that iPhones keep it mobile and to massive because Samsung makes them the size of a tablet and they sometimes can’t fit in some people’s pockets.  

Until researching this I didn’t know there were a ton of different iPhones and I also didn’t realize the iPhone 6 was being used the most. I think it is pretty cool because I personally have two iPhone  6’s.  I predict the iPhones will become even more impressive. I have high hopes because I have used Apple products for a long time.
