Have you ever interviewed someone? Today I’m going to share an interview about Lillian and what is going on in her mind. I just want wanted to say thank you Lillian for your time to answer these questions.

Q: What are your future goals for this year?
A: My future goals are to get through 7th grade.
Q: Tell a story about an accomplishment or event from your past that had a significant impact on you.
A: I don’t really have one
Q: Tell a story that says something important about who you are.
A: Devin [her brother], I wouldn’t really be much of who I am if it weren’t for him, he’s a pretty big part of my life.
Q: Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, which marked your transition from childhood to within your culture, community, or family.
A: We went to California over spring break.
Follow up Q: What did you do in California.
Follow up A: We saw my grandparents.
Follow up Q: Was there anything else.
Follow up A: I went to the ocean for the first time.
Connection: Same with me I went to California to see the ocean.
Q: find a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?
A: My parents are split so I decide which house I want to go to that day.
Q: Do you believe that this is a good school? Why or why not?
A: I think it’s good enough to cause most of the people I know have gone here.
Q: Tell a story that shows what you find most challenging/rewarding about being a student.
A: Keeping up with everything you have to do in 7th grade.
Q: Have you ever thought about changing your school? If so, why didn’t you?

A: If I were able to yeah I would, to make new friends.
Q: How is this school different from or similar to the elementary school you went to growing up?
A: Well since emporia is a small town we are more connected to each other, so it’s about the same.
Q: Tell about a teacher who had a significant impact on you.
A: Probably my fourth-grade teacher, because she was nice and forgiving.
Q: What was the happiest moment of your life?
A: Getting my cats
Q: Who has been the biggest influence on your life? What lessons did you learn?
A: My parents are encouraging me.
Q: How has your life been different from what you’d imagined?
A: When I was younger I thought it would be different
Q: What is the hardest thing you have ever had to do?
A: Trying to multitask.
Q: What are you proudest of in your life? Why?
A: Getting into world studies I heard that was really.
