Today I am here at Arrowhead Stadium to talk about the 2016 Chiefs Vs. Buccaneers game that took place on November 16th, 2016. I have a couple of people to interview about the game. I have Paul and Jackson Meinke. Now onto the questions.

The first thing to talk about is Tailgating. The Chiefs are known for tailgating. Thousands of cars come early to hang out with friends and eat food. During the tailgating I got to experience some amazing KC style BBQ. Some people during tailgating are really serious. Someone brought their smoker so they can make BBQ. Some people just come and play games like cornhole, football, and ladder ball.

Next, we are going to talk about how the game was. The Chiefs got the early lead 0-3 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Buccaneers were on the board with a field goal that tied the game up at 3-3. Soon after the Chiefs scored a touchdown to give them the lead back at 3-10. The Buccaneers ended up coming back with two field goals to get the score to 9-10 at the end of the first half. Coming out of the locker room the Buccaneers had a quick start and started with a field goal to give them their first lead of the game 12-10. In the final quarter, the game was 12-10 and the Chiefs had to make a comeback. They did come back with a touchdown to give them the lead back 12-17. Sadly, the Buccaneers soon got the ball back and scored the game-winning touchdown to win 19-17.

Some game stats are:

Alex Smith went 24/31 with 261 yard 1 touchdown and an INT
Spencer Ware had 17 carries for 69 yards
Travis Kelce had 7 receptions for 108 yards
Tyreek Hill had 4 receptions for 53 yards

On the defensive side of the ball

Ramik Wilson had 7 tackles and 1 assist
Steven Nelson had 7 tackles
Derrick Johnson had 6 tackles and 1 assist

Thanks to espn.com for those stats.

After the game, I got the chance to interview Paul and Jackson Meinke. Some of the questions I asked them are, how was the game?. Have you ever been to a game? Are you sad that the Chiefs lost? Here’s what they had to say. Paul says the game was a fun experience and that tomahawk chop was the loudest thing I have ever heard. Jackson says that this is his first real game, but he has been to a preseason game. They also said that they had some of the best hotdogs they have ever had and the popcorn was phenomenal. Paul said that the first thing he saw was the football in the air as they kicked off.

As this segment comes to an end the Chiefs are still the best in the west at 7-3 this season. This has been the sports report for the Chiefs game on Sunday. Goodnight everyone and see you next time on the 6:00 o’clock nightly news.
