Imagine it’s a foggy morning. You get on the school buses, and on the way to the school, the driver drives across a bridge but then sees a Cockroach, so he swerves off the bridge, and then, you die because you had no seatbelt. That’s why school buses need to be safer, because around 100-1000 kids die in school bus accidents. If they added seat belts. it would make most incidents end in injuries and no deaths. It’s just bad that kids die because school buses need better safety equipment.

One reason that  School buses should have more safety features is that according to injuryfacts.nsc a majority of bus accidents happen when getting on and off the bus.

So school buses should have safer ways of getting on the bus. So that kids can be safer when getting on and off the buses they would also be able to get in and out of the bus easier. that a majority of bus accidents happen when getting on and off the bus.

My 2nd reason why school buses should have more safety features is that according to injuryfacts.nsc is school buses should have seat belts because the second most common reason kids die on school buses is during crashes.

School buses should have seatbelts because it would stop most deaths on buses.

My 3rd reason why school buses should be safer is that according to https://cultureofsafety.thesilverlining.com/driving/school-bus-safety/ School bus drivers are distracted by the kids requesting to play music or turn on the ac/heater etc, So this means they need to enforce school bus rules to prevent accidents on the bus.

School buses should be safer because 100 to 1000 deaths happen on the way to school, in the event of a crash there would be fewer deaths and some kids die because school bus safety could be improved but isn’t too often.
