Have you ever wondered what the best games of 2021 were? I play a lot of games on different platforms and have sometimes tried to think of games I could play. Some of these games are still popular today. Even if these games aren’t popular they are still fun to play.

 Fortnite is a free to play battle royale game, with battle game mode and a save the world game mode. You can play alone or party up with some friends and play, solo, duos, trios, and squads. In battle royale players must be the last standing to win the game. In battle royale you can play mini games in creative mode. Also in creative mode, you are able to make your own map to play with friends or a map a community can play also. Players are winning large amounts of money from streaming and winning competitive games. In 2019 Kyle Gierdorfs, better known as his online name Bugha, won three million dollars by winning the Fortnite World Cup. 

The next game is Minecraft. Minecraft has survival, creative, spectator, and adventure game modes. But survival mode is the most commonly played. Survival mode’s objective is to beat the game. To do this players must slay the Ender Dragon in the End. Minecraft started November 18, 2011 and has more than 3.6 million people playing daily. Minecraft had its high in 2012 and 2013, but then had a steady decline until 2019 when people started playing again. But has never gone as high as it did.

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds’ or PUBG is a free-to-play battle royale game. The original is one of the best selling, and most played games of all time. The original PUBG sold over 75 million copies. Like Fortnite, you drop into an island, search for loot, and eliminate enemies that get in your way. Players can choose to play solo, duos, or with a small group of 4.

Grand Theft auto or GTA made by Rockstar Games has been popular for years. GTA is a story mode game. There are 3 protagonists at the beginning of the game. They are Michael De Santa, a former bank robber and career criminal, Trevor Phillips is also a former bank robber and career criminal, Franklin Clinton who became a gang member at a young age. In 2018, GTA online was second for best-selling. To play online on console you would have to have a subscription like the Xbox Live or Playstation Plus. When getting into online you will create your character, skin tone, hair color, and clothing.Online you play in a public lobby with friends or other people you meet while gaming.

There are many more games other than these to play in your free time. Some other games could be Red Dead Redemption; another game that was made by Rockstar Games. Or Rocket League, a soccer game but you play soccer with cars. Have fun playing these games!
