Do you know the origin of “run Forrest runnnnn!”? Well, I’m doing a review over Forest Gump. This movie is honestly astonishing so you should watch this amazing movie and enjoy it with some friends because there are a lot of funny parts.

First, we’re going over the plot. The movie is about a kid named Forrest. At the start of the movie he struggles with bullies because of leg braces. He meets a girl named Jenny remember her because she’s important. Later he also goes to college and joins the army and meet’s Bubba and Lt. Dan. Then he goes to a peace not war protest at Washington Dc but the mic was off so the people didn’t hear him but meet’s Jenny again. After that he reunites with Lt. Dan and starts a business Forrest then marries Jenny and starts a family

Next I’m going over the character/cast, the first character is Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump. He has also been in The Green Mile and Saving Private Ryan. Then we have Jenny Curran as Robin Wright who is Forrest’s wife she plays in the movies House of cards and Land. After her there is Lt. Dan as Gary Sinise Of Mice and Men Apollo 13. We also have Sally Field as Forrest’s mother. She played in The Flying nun and Mrs. Doubtfire. Also there is Mykelti Williamson as Bubba he was also in The Purge: Election Year and Fences.

The last thing we’re going over is the special effects. The special effects are only in a few scene’s and some are not really that great looking. The explosions in the movie are really good. An example is when Forrest, Bubba, and Lt. Dan asks for a napalm strike. The cgi for the plane doesn’t look real good but the explosion looks really amazing. They did really well with the special effects but that was about the only scene with an explosion; but that’s what makes the movie amazing.

Even though this movie can be depressing but also hilarious, that’s what makes the movies so amazing and everyone should watch this movie at least once in their life and watch with family for a great time.
