Summer break is right around the corner. And if you’re like me, you love theater. But if you’re worried about not having any theater over the summer, I have the solution for you. Here are some theater performances you can see this summer.
The story of Madagascar is being presented by the Emporia Arts Council. It is being performed June 4th at 6 pm. Madagascar the Musical is being performed at William Lindsay White Civic Auditorium. So many people have seen this movie, and there are really cool puppets that the actors use that you should see.
The classic story of the Little Mermaid is being performed by Missoula Children’s Theater. You will be able to audition for any role on June 19th at 4 pm, and it is being performed on June 23rd at 7 pm at the EHS. Anyone is welcome to audition. That could be a kid that wants to do theater, like your little cousin, or sibling, or you. It would be a fun experience.
ESU will have summer theater. They will come out with the performance soon. They have been doing it for over 150 years. It’s people from our community helping out with this and the performances are great. So if you think you might want to do some acting in college this would be a great thing to watch.
