Three Things I Learned in World Studies

A penguin because Mr. Hawley doesn’t like them

I’ve learned a lot of things in World Studies. I’ve also met a lot of people in World Studies. Everyone in this class has their own qualities and they’re all so different. I’ve had fun getting to know all of my classmates, as well as Ms. Baza and Mr. Hawley. One thing I’ve learned from this class is that Mr. Hawley exists, because before I took this class I had no idea that he was even a teacher. But now that I’ve taken this class, I’m glad that I met him because he’s a great teacher, and he’s so patient with us. Something else I’ve learned here is that people with such different personalities can get along with each other. Everyone in the class can joke and laugh with each other, and I’m glad we can have fun together. Lastly, I’ve learned a lot of life lessons. Not talking to people behind their backs is one of them, and Mr. Hawley always tells us we shouldn’t do it and that it’s not a good thing to do. Another one is that everything is a choice. Nobody can force you to make decisions. Every single decision you make is because of you. And I’m glad that I made the decision of joining this class.
