Today, I’m going to be interviewing Logan Thexton, a 7th-grader at Emporia Middle School. He’s going to be talking about certain topics that make up who he is as a person, and things and people he enjoys.
S: Who is your hero?
L: My parents, because they are my favorite humans in the world.
S: What would you change about yourself if you could?
L: Probably the fact that I have to wear glasses.
S: Why would you want to change the fact that you wear glasses?
L: Because they’re horrendous, and I’ve been told that I look better without my glasses, which I agree with.
S: What makes you really angry?
L: When I don’t get a hole-in-one in golf.
S: Why does that make you angry?
L: Because it’s hard to achieve, but I still get mad at myself.
S: Where would you want to live?
L: In Colorado, because it would give me an excuse to buy a snowmobile and I love the mountains.
S: What’s your favorite place to go in town?
L: Radius, to get pretzel bites.
S: What elementary school did you go to?
L: Village Elementary, and my favorite teacher there is teaching here at the middle school.
S: Who was your favorite teacher?
L: Miss Lord.
S: Why was she your favorite teacher?
L: Because her class was about building things, and she was really kind. Like if you needed something, she would do it or get it for you.
S: What is your favorite song, and why is that your favorite song?
L: Chop Suey, by SOAD, and because it transitions between heavy metal, and soft and smooth.
S: What did you want to be when you grew up when you were a kid, and has that changed?
L: It definitely has changed. At first, I wanted to be an astronaut, like every other kid, but then I kinda wanted to be a police officer for a bit, and now, I want to be a chef, ‘cause it seems pretty easy and simple.
S: Why is green your favorite color?
L: I don’t know, it’s just a good color. Like, it’s better than all the other colors.
S: How would your friends describe you?
L: Well, I guess calm, funny. Maybe relaxed.
If you’ve ever wanted to know more about outstanding people, now you have. Logan is funny and calm, who has good goals for the future, and enjoys building things. If you see Logan around the school, make sure to say hi. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to interview you today!
