Have you ever wanted to get a drink but your teacher won’t let you go to the water fountain? Or maybe you have been in a class in which a certain student is repeatedly asking to go to the water fountain and constantly interrupting class. Well, there is one simple thing that can solve both of those problems: a reusable water bottle. In this article, I will explain why schools should give students a reusable water bottle.

The first reason that schools should provide reusable water bottles for their students is because if you were provided with water then it would save money. According to  FLASKE, “ A 500 ml FLASKE Bottle costs just under €30 [about $45]. With the correct care, one bottle can last a lifetime. Comparatively, if you buy bottled water every day, you’re probably already spending at least €30 [about $45] every month.” This means that a reusable water bottle actually saves you money!

A second reason for schools to provide a reusable water bottle is because it will help students focus. According to Totally Inspired, “‘Studies have shown that students remember more and stay focused longer when they are hydrated,’ he said. ‘So, providing a way to keep students hydrated throughout the day is an easy way to help them learn and develop.’” That means that a reusable water bottle will keep students hydrated.

The third and final reason that schools should provide reuseable water bottles is because a water bottle will urge students to drink more water therefore keeping them healthy. According to Beewise, “Carrying a reusable water bottle with you will encourage you to drink more water throughout the day. Drinking plenty of water will improve digestion, regulate body temperature, stabilize heartbeat, regulate blood pressure, cushion joints, and much more.” This information means that a reuseable water bottle will make you want to drink more water which will ultimately improve your health.

To close this article up I think that schools should provide reusable water bottles to their students because it will save money, keep you hydrated, make you want to drink more water, and improve your health. That is why I think that schools should provide reusable water bottles to students.
