Have you ever wondered why pit bulls are so mean? Have you ever wondered if they could EVER be nice? I can answer that. Pitbulls have been around since the Early 1800’s. They are a loyal and respectful breed. That’s why pit bulls should not be made illegal! The first reason is that pit bulls are actually really nice dogs. Another reason is, pit bull attacks only happen if the dog feels threatened! The last reason is that pit bulls like protecting their owners, so that may be a reason to attack. Not just to attack you for no reason! Here are three reasons why pit bulls should not be illegal.
The first reason is: Just as with human beings, any animal that is brought up poorly or raised poorly, can acquire bad behaviors. Unfortunately, pit bulls have been given a bad reputation because of their owners’ mistreatment. Due to the history of the pit bull, I know it sounds like pit bulls are meant to be tough, brave, fighting machines, but they really are, kind, loving, and adorable.
The second reason is: Pit bulls are actually really good family dogs! They are really good around kids, especially if it’s YOUR kids. Pit bulls are very good at being loyal to the owners and their kids, and you can train them to protect them, but also be BIG teddy bears! Also, if you keep your dog in good shape and are really nice to them, then you will see the TRUE side of this dog’s personality. That’s why we need to stop this movement of banning pit bulls, 1. Stopping this movement will mean the end of dog abuse. 2. People think of pit bulls as mean, lean, fighting machines, but they are loyal, trustworthy, and respectful dogs. 3. When you train them, they will respect you more and not disobey because they know that you have nice actions, so the pit bull will do the same. So, I would like you to really give it your all, and make a difference. And make them what they truly are, kind, loving and loyal dogs, before it’s too late.
