Have you ever wondered why your school or other schools are changing to year-round schools? This is because year-round school is better. Today I’m going to tell you about their benefits like students won’t forget work, their education, and the schools saving money.

Education

The first reason is that at year-round schools is that you will get academically better. According to https://www.ascd.org/el/articles/year-round-schooling,  “Students in year-round schools do as well or slightly better in terms of academic achievement than students in traditional schools.” This means that at year-round schools students will have a better chance of going to a good academic college and they learn stuff a lot better. 

Not Forgetting Work

The second reason is that they won’t forget stuff, unlike traditional schools. According to stacks.cdc.gov/, “Year-round schooling reduces the duration of traditional, long summer vacation associated with loss of academic learning. Also, year-round schooling reduces the duration of traditional, long summer vacations associated with loss of academic learning.” This means students won’t forget what they learned. 

Schools Saving Money

The last reason is the school will save money if they change to year-round school. According to https://soeonline.american.edu, “Year-round schools use facilities more efficiently by accommodating more students thanks to staggered schedules, or track systems. Track systems divide students into groups who attend school on rotating schedules. Tracking can save districts the expense of constructing new schools and allows districts to make better use of the resources they already have.” This means if the school wants, they can buy more upgraded electronic equipment.
