 It’s Christmas time and with Christmas time rolling around, many local celebrations and events (such as the Christmas Parade and the Christmas Tree lighting at the zoo) are being and have been organized to get you in the holiday spirit. Though, the holidays don’t necessarily mean just Christmas, other holidays are included such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Soyal, and Las Posadas, just to name a few. That’s when Seasonal Celebration comes into the picture. Seasonal Celebration is a musical celebration where students of all kinds come together and play or sing festive music, even in different languages! Students in band, orchestra, and choir all come together to make beautiful music for all in Emporia to enjoy. This year (2023) the 88th Annual Seasonal Celebration is taking place today on December 13th and tomorrow December 14th at William Lindsay White Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome and I guarantee that you’ll have a wonderful time. If you’re looking for a good time, Seasonal Celebration is the place to be.
