Have you ever wondered who the greatest NBA players are? Today I’m going to talk about the top 5 players of all time. The top 5 greatest players are players that can do everything on the court. They can dribble, pass, score, and also rebound. 

At number 5 we have Magic Johnson. In his career, he managed to win 5 NBA championships and 3 league MVPS. He is known for his amazing passing skills that he had, he has more than 10,000 career assists. He had to retire after 12 NBA seasons after he found out that he had HIV which could lead to AIDS.

At number 4 we have Kareem Abdul Jabbar. In his career, he managed to win 6 NBA championships and also had 6 league MVPS. The most iconic move he ever made was called the sky hook,  which was such an unguardable move in his time. He is mostly known for holding the record of the most points in a career which was broken by Lebron James on February 7th, 2023.

At number 3 we have Kobe Bryant. In his career, he managed to win 5 NBA championships and have 4 league MVPS. He was one of the clutchest players of all time with 14 game-winning shots. He retired after playing 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is mostly talked about as the best Laker of all time which is impressive because the Lakers have a lot of Hall of Famers.

At number 2 we have Lebron James. In his career so far he has 4 NBA championships and also has 4 league MVPs. In 2016 Lebron James made the biggest comeback in NBA championship history, beating the Warriors after being down 3 to 1. Lebron James is in his 20th NBA season this year and plans to retire after 1 or 2 more NBA seasons. He is mostly known for being the NBA’s leading scorer with 39,103.

At number 1 we have Michael Jordan. In his career, he managed to win 6 NBA championships and also had 5 league MVPS. He is mostly known for being one of the greatest offensive and defensive players. In his prime scoring, he averaged 37 points per game, which only he, James Harden, and Wilt Chamberlain have ever done. He is the clutchest basketball player of all time with 15 buzzer-beaters. He played from 1984-2003 but he retired multiple times in his career and came back.

There are the top 5 NBA players of all time. All of these players played basketball differently. Some of them were great offensive players and some were defensive players.
