Because during December, the weather is amazing and warm. There are also a lot of parties you can go to. They were very fun, not like the parties in the USA because they were outside and very loud and it was free for everyone. The speakers were very loud and the police didn’t care that there were like 20 big speakers.

El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America but it’s the safest Country in Latin America, safest Country in Lain America . 4 years ago it was very dangerous due to all the gangs, all the killing, and all the crimes. Yes there is a little bit of stealing but it’s gotten better past the years most of the criminals are in jail. Nayib Bukele is the president of El Salvador. He has changed El Salvador so much and has made it a safer and better place to be in. Now you can go anywhere in El Salvador without being scared you’re going to get killed or get robbed. There are security guards everywhere in stores and all public places. There are more police out everywhere making sure everything is good.
San Salvador
San Salvador is the capital of El Salvador and the biggest city. It’s also the nicest and richest city in El Salvador. San Salvador was established in 1525. There are more job opportunities for people there. It used to be a very dangerous place to be in but now it’s safe. They just built a library in San Salvador. The Biblioteca Nacional of El Salvador Biblioteca Nacional de El Salvador has so many different activities: a children’s area, robotics section, spaces for comic, film, and series enthusiasts, a gaming area, an art gallery, among other cultural attractions. It is very big. The library has 7 floors above and 1 floor below. In total there are 8 floors. The library has become a very famous place a lot of people go to visit and take pictures. It looks very nice in the day but even better at night you can see all the lights. I recommended visiting the library because it’s a very different and cool place in El Salvador compared to other places.
Volcanos
El Salvador is known as the land of volcanoes because there are more than 100 volcanoes there, Volcanos In El Boqueron volcano there is a big rainbow slide that is very fun but to start walking up to the volcano to go on the slide you would have to pay 5 dollars. It’s a great volcano to visit. The view is so nice. Izalco Volcano is an active volcano right now. The type of the volcano is stratovolcano. Santa Ana Volcano people can hike and go to the top and see it and the nice view from above. To hike the volcano and come back would take you the whole day, that’s why it’s good to come early in the morning.
Food
The food in El Salvador is very tasty and really good. I’m going to tell you about the most common foods in El Salvador. First, Pupusas they are the most popular food you can eat in El Salvador. They look like tortillas but not really because they are more thick and have other things inside. They can have cheese inside, beans, pork, fish basically anything you would want to eat. Most pupusas taste really good especially when they’re fresh and just got done cooking. The second food is tamales. They are different from other tamales. Salvadorian tamales are wrapped in plantain leaves. It can be filled with pork or chicken, which are the traditional two meats but the tamale can be filled with anything that you would like. They have a lot of flavor inside. I think they are delicious. Another common food in El Salvador is yuca sancochada. Yuca is made of a cassava plant. It looks like potatoes when they’re done cooking but the taste is very different. Yuca tastes a little sweet and it’s soft. You can eat it by itself or put any sauce to go with it.
Beaches
El Salvador is filled with beaches. The beaches are very big and beautiful. I have been to Playa El Majahual. It’s very nice there is a restaurant and a lot of people selling snacks on the sand of the beach and it’s a very enjoyable time to go with your family. There are also hotels if anyone would like to spend the night there. It is located in the village of El Majahual. It is 23 miles south of San Salvador. These are the top 5 beaches. Number one Puerto de La Libertad is a great beach; it’s also mostly used for surfing. Number two Playa El Tunco is rocky so the sand is not smooth but there are a lot of craves to explore and have a good time. It’s also got its name because there is a rock there that is shaped like a pig (tunco). Number three Playa El Sunzal is very nice but there’s not a lot of sand, it’s mostly water. Number four Costa del Sol has very beautiful sunsets. Number five Playa San Diego with beautiful white sand to play beach volleyball. The water has great waves. A very great beach. Let me tell you about this amazing hotel that has a beach named Acantilados but it’s way more expensive than others but it is worth it. The hotel has a restaurant with food. The plates are a little too expensive for the amount of food they give you but it does taste good. The hotel has three pools too, one small pool for little kids, the other pool is a normal-sized pool great for swimming and just relaxing, and the other pool is bigger and it’s hanging off a rock. It has the best view for watching the sunset. The people that work there treat you very well. While you’re in the pool you can order any drink you would like. It’s a very great experience.
Those are some things about El Salvador that you might have not known. El Salvador is a great place to visit. There are a lot of nice things to see and do. The people there are very nice and helpful. Most people look happy and stress free. El Salvador has a lot of great places to surf, has great food. In El Salvador mostly every road you’re on there will be little stores that people make with trees and other things they will sell coconuts, lots of different foods, fresh fruit, bracelets, nice decorations, and lots more. But one thing that is bad is that there is a lot of traffic everywhere you go. The people there drive so bad that’s why there’s a lot of accidents that happen. There are too many cars for such small roads. If you’re driving from Santa Ana to one of the beaches, it would take you 3-4 hours to get there in traffic.
