On Friday, January 5th snowfall started in Emporia. Many people love the snow. It is fun to find a big hill and sled down it. Another thing to do in the snow is build a giant snowman. Or, if those things sound a bit too boring for you, you could gather up some friends and family to build walls out of snow and have a snowball fight! While all those seem fun, snow often also brings ice with it. Ice causes the roads to be slippery and may cause car accidents. Snow also brings cold air which may cause frostbite. Have fun but be aware of this bad weather.
