Recently I have written a story about a hat I was making my grandpa for Christmas. At the time of writing that story, I had three days to finish the hat and I had one row done. I worked all day Thursday, our last day of school, and all day Friday, our first day of break. By the end of Friday I had finished the hat, not without staying up later than my parents would have liked me to, but all I had left to do was clean up the edges. I finished the next morning and we headed to my grandparent’s house for an early Christmas. When it was time to open presents I could hardly wait for him to open the hat. He loved it the moment he saw it and wore it around the house all day. I hope you are inspired to make something for someone you love after reading this story.
