It is without a doubt that I say that at least 40% of people on Earth have heard of Taylor Swift. And I assume at least 10-20 percent have heard about her and Travis Kelce. Then, about 75% of NFL viewers/fans are going nuts and/or are absolutely vexed about her approximately 10-second (or less) camera coverage by the NFL. I mean occasionally I can see where they’re coming from but mostly I don’t. A lot of people take it way too far and either break TVs, scream like maniacs, throw a fit, have a mental breakdown, throw things, print out full-color pictures of her and scream “I don’t [care] about her!” and then rip up the picture like a maniac, and other stuff. Those aren’t even overstatements, either. Like, it really isn’t that deep. Of course, for many fans, approximately 10-seconds (or less) of a woman supporting her boyfriend on-screen is enough to make a person want to drown themselves in their own bathtub. Call me biased, but I don’t think she controls that kind of stuff, no matter how powerful she may or may not seem. She doesn’t need more fame or attention than she already has. Though I do think the NFL and/or some sports broadcasting companies are milking it. I recently saw a video posted by ESPN captioned, “Imagine if Taylor Swift wore this to her next concert.” The shirt (originally her iconic “Who’s Taylor Swift anyway? Ew.” shirt) was altered to say “Who’s the Ravens anyway? Ew.” by ESPN itself. They really are milking it and people are blaming Taylor, as always. Taylor is simply supporting Travis Kelce, who is her boyfriend, by attending his games and these sports broadcasting websites etc., are milking it for money, views, and popularity, etc. Frankly, it’s annoying and I get the pain of these viewers/fans but they need to understand that it’s not Taylor controlling this. She doesn’t need more fame. So ESPN and other sites need to stop being attention seekers and enjoy. Taylor Swift doesn’t need more attention than she already has. So to all you viewers or fans of the NFL or football, you need to stop blaming and hating on Taylor when really the ESPN, FOX, and maybe even the NFL, need to stop milking it and carry on. One last thing; please breathe in, breathe through, breathe deep, and breathe out. Thank you.
