The 7th-grade boys basketball participated in a tournament at Seaman Middle School on February 17th to decide the league champion. In our first game, we played Shawnee Heights who we beat in the regular season. It was a close game for the whole game. We were up by 5 with 1 minute left. With about 10 seconds left, they missed a three and I grabbed the rebound. I chose to not move so the clock would run out and we ended up winning. In the championship, we played against Seaman. We played awful that entire game but it was still close up to the last minute of the game. With 3 seconds left in the game, we were down by 3 points. They threw the ball into me and I shot a fadeaway three which was just short of going in. So we ended up getting second place in the basketball tournament. So come out and support us next year, we will definitely get our revenge next year.
