Over last quarter the 7th-grade boys’ basketball team have been taking people by surprise with a 5-1 season record and with that record came the 1 seed in their league. In their league tournament, they had a bye for the first round, beat Shawnee Heights by around 6, and in the championship game they had a crushing defeat against Seaman Middle School, losing by 3 points(26-29). The 8th-grade boys’ team took 2nd seed in their league and also lost in the championship. Both teams took 2nd place in their league tournament, which most people didn’t really expect.
