Have you ever been building a Lego MOC (my own creation) and not had enough parts for it? Or maybe they are just not good pieces for the build. In this article, I will tell about about 5 good parts for making a good MOC. I will discuss the availability of colors, cost, and the different ways to use the part
The first useful brick is a Round 1 x 1 with 3 Leaves. This piece comes in 20 different colors most commonly in green. The piece sells for about $.01 on Bricklink. The part is used normally as just a leaf and does not have very many different uses. Overall I would say it is a 9 out of 10 piece.
The next part is most useful for supporting large landscaping like mountains or large hills. The 2x2x10 is available in 6 different colors. The towering 2x2x10 sells for about $.10. The brick has very few uses besides support and as a kind of scaffolding. With all that in mind of the 2x2x10, I think it deserves a good 9/10 for MOC builders.
Another useful piece is the 1x5x4 inverted arch. The arch comes in 9 colors. The arch sells for around $.05 online. The brick is useful for large arches and can be used for the branches on a tree. This is a useful piece for me in my experience with Lego. So I say this is a 10/10 piece for your MOCs.
The next good part is the 21-link chain piece. This chain comes in 13 different colors. This is a fairly cheap piece selling for about 10 cents on Bricklink. It is useful in medieval builds as chains were often used during that era. So I think this is a 10/10 brick.
The 5th and final good piece is the 16×16 plate. This plate is available in 20 colors. The part sells for around $1. This is a really good piece to build your mocs on. It also looks good as dirt in the dark tan color. So I would suggest this piece for your mocs. I will give this piece a 10 out of 10 for your mocs.
There Are many more pieces for your builds that I could not fit into this. I hope after reading this, you have learned about some good pieces for your LEGO MOC. If you want to buy some parts for your mocs, you can go to Bricklink or LEGO.com.
