Many things have happened in this world: the dinosaurs, the first humans, the invention of Monkey Island. But, one even more amazing thing that happens in this world is the solar eclipse. Most people might remember the solar eclipse from 2017; THAT WAS 7 YEARS AGO! I never got to see the eclipse in 2017 but this year I will see the eclipse that is happening on April 8th. This part will depend on where you are but in the metro area of Kansas City, 95% of the moon will cover the sun almost making it a full eclipse but in Emporia it will only cover around 80%. Well, that is all you need to hear from me so make sure you wear those fancy cardboard glasses when you look at the solar eclipse!
