Minecraft is the second biggest-selling video game of all time and Terraria has a lot in common with Minecraft but isn’t as popular. They have both been around since 2011. They’re like the same game, you go mining, fight enemies, and fight bosses at the end of both games. There are a lot of similarities and differences like their main goal, enemies, and some biomes.
The first thing is going to be the main goal of both games. The main goal of Minecraft is to build up, improve gear, and go to the end and beat the Ender Dragon. The main goal of Terraria is to build up, improve your gear, and summon the Moon Lord. Some similarities are that you have to build up and improve your gear to kill a final boss. A difference is that in Minecraft you have to open a portal to go to a different world and fight the boss but in Terraria you have to summon the boss to you.
The second thing is the mobs that are in the games. Some mobs in Terraria are Zombies, Bats Slimes, and Spiders. Some mobs in Minecraft are Sheep, Zombies, Skeletons, and Spiders. Some similar mobs are the Skeletons, Spiders, Zombies, and Cave Bats. Some different mobs Terraria have are Bone Serpents, Eater of Souls, and Demons. Some different mobs Minecraft have are Sheep, Endermen, and Ender Mites.
The last one is biomes. Biomes are areas that have their specific people, animals, and resources. Some biomes that are the same are Jungle, Ocean, and Desert. Some biomes that Terraria has are Aether, the Hallow(a Hallow in Terraria is a magical but dangerous place), and Underground Crimson. Some different biomes Minecraft has are Extreme Hills, Birch Forests, and the Beach.
Those are some of the similarities and differences between Minecraft and Terraria. My favorite mob would be the Eater of Souls cause it looks cool and has a cool name. My favorite biome would be the taiga biome because it has big trees and some big mountains. If you want to play the games for yourself, click on the two links Minecraft and Terraria.
