It’s that time of year again… Application season. From joining the tennis team to summer camps, this year holds amazing potential for many activities. Specifically, Student Council applications that are beginning to be accepted. All current 6th and 7th graders can join the Google Classroom and apply. To find the code, look in the hallways for the posters around the school, or talk to Mrs. Mason in the Aqua Team hallway. Applications will begin on April 15th and will close on April 29th. There is also a meeting on April 15th in advisory directly after announcements. StuCo is mainly looking for people who are leaders, want to improve the school and celebrate the things at EMS. Within the student council, there are 5 committees:

  • Teach appreciation… Things.
• Community Service
  • Put up posters
  • Fundraising
• Secretarial/School Improvement
  • Plans dances
  • Plans Spirit Olympics
  • Etc.

  • Talks in assemblies
  • ALSO plans Spirit Olympics

If you’re interested, simply join the Google Classroom where you will fill out a few forms, get teacher recommendations (at least 4 POSITIVE teacher recommendations are required), and wait to see if you get onto the voting form! Good luck to everyone!
