Would you ever go to another state just to eat at a restaurant? Well, I definitely know I would. The restaurant is Tacos Sonora; a Mexican restaurant in Jerome, Idaho! That’s what I will be talking to you about today! Definitely a bit far but so worth it, it’s also not a very big town at all but still super worth it.
Starting off with the food. They have Asada tacos for $1.25 or Tacos with your own meat choice for $2.50. They have combo meals that come with fries or tots and a drink, Tortas Y Papas, Burritos, Combinations like to add to your tostada, Seafood, Ceviche, Ostiones (oyster), drinks, desserts, and weekend foods, like Pozole, Meundo, Quesabirria con Consome, and just Birria. Personally, I had a Gordita with just refried beans and it was probably the best thing I’ve had in a while.
Second are the prices. It shouldn’t be too expensive since it’s a restaurant. Everything should be under 15 dollars. The cheapest thing is asada tacos for $1.25, the most expensive thing is probably the asada + pescado (fish) + camaron (shrimp)which is $25.95, but overall the food shouldn’t be too expensive. There’s just so many food options to choose from that everything just seems so good to try, might even wanna buy the whole menu!
Lastly is the atmosphere, overall the atmosphere is great. I think the atmosphere is super welcoming. Everyone is nice and they let you take your time if you still haven’t decided on what to order. They’re also super helpful if you need help or anything like that. They check up on you regularly. Since it’s a pretty small restaurant, they don’t take forever to help you. Overall, super great service and super welcoming
In conclusion, The food, prices, and atmosphere might just wanna make me travel back to Idaho just for it again! The food is super worth it and if you ever end up in Idaho, I hope you take time to visit Jerome and check out Tacos Sanora! Check out their menu! Here’s also the address, 1038 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome, ID 83338.
