Do you wonder what world studies will be like? I know I did when I first got here. Here are 3 things I learnt this year. First thing I learnt was that we weren’t like the other ELA or Social studies classes, we had this class 2 times a day and it was ELA combined with Social Studies, so like a 2 in 1. Second of all is that it was kind of like your own office and you just had a bunch of work to do all on your own most of the time in the afternoon. We always have something to do even if we think we don’t. You’ll always have some type of story to do or finish. Last thing I learnt about this is that everyone surprisingly gets along, I’ve talked to people that I have never thought I would have talked to. Some people even go around the room asking people questions or how they feel about the topic they’re writing about. That’s something nice about this class, at first i thought this class would be scary and hard but it’s actually not that bad once you really get used to it, if all your work is turned in on time you will find this class to be super easy. In the end I think World Studies is a class that is super worth it. I’ve definitely had a lot of fun this year being in World Studies.
