Me thinking I could sleep in on Saturdays… Well, I was wrong because I had to go to my sister’s soccer game. Waking up at 8am on a Saturday morning is not very fun for me, but watching my sister play soccer is fun. I like watching my sister play a sport that she likes. So, today I’ll be telling you how her season is going.
Practices
My sister goes to practices on Mondays and Fridays. They go from 6:15pm to 7:15pm. My family goes and watches her practice. While she’s practicing, my dad and I pass a ball around and practice shooting and my mom takes our dog and walks around the field. We all always have a good time. On other days of the week, if we have time, my sister and I sometimes practice in our backyard and it’s fun. We practice passing and dribbling the ball.
Games
My sister has had three games so far. The first game didn’t go very well because they lost 2-8. She scored a goal and another girl from her team. In the second game, they did way better than the first game they tied 3-3. It was a very close and good game to watch. In the third game, they went and they won 2-1. It was also a good game. They have gotten a lot better.
How she is doing
She is doing well. She has been practicing a lot and has gotten better since the first day. She has scored three goals for this season so far. This season is her third year playing. At practices she works hard and tries to do her best. Her position is midfield and sometimes she plays as a defensive player.
That’s how her season is going. I think it’s not going bad and her team will get better each time they practice. I think they will do well this season. They have four more games for this season and a couple more practices left. She plays for the Rec Center and her coaches are two girls from EHS. Let’s see how they end the season!
