5. 1979 Alabama Crimson Tide
They are on this list for many reasons. The first reason is they went 12-0 and won the national championship. They had 3 All-Americans on their team and 5 SEC Selections. In the seventies, they went 103-61-1 with 8 SEC conference championships and three national championships. On this team, they had 5 future NFL players and one of them was a Super Bowl champion which was QB Dwight Stephenson. The player that led their team to the national championship was Steadman Shealy who had 11 rushing TDS, 791 rushing yards, and 151 attempts he also had 717 passing yards and 4 TDs. The 2nd one is Defensive Back Ricky Tucker who had 4 interceptions and 19 tackles. This team is one of the best Crimson Tide teams and one of the best of all time ll college teams of all time.

They are the best USC Trojans teams of all time. The first reason is they were ranked #1 all season and they also outscored their opponents 469-169. This team had 4 future NFL players and the highest pick player from this team was an All-American Kenechi Udeze who was the 20th pick in the draft. In the 2004 season, the Trojans went 13-0 and won the CFP against Oklahoma 55-19 in the Orange Bowl. The star players on this team were QB Matt Leinhart who passed for 3,322, 33 TDs, and only 6 INTs. The next one is RB Lendale White who had rushing yards and 17 rushing TDs. The best player was by far QB Matt Leinhart he led his team to an undefeated season and won the national championship but it was a team effort. This team is one of the best Miami Hurricanes teams. They are on this list because they went 12-0 and won the national championship. They were ranked number 1 during the regular seasons and eventually produced 38 NFL Draft picks. The QB who led them to this feat is QB Ken Dorsey who passed for 2,652 yards and 23 TDS. The Star running back for this team was Clinton Portis. He rushed for 1,200 yards and averaged 5.5 yards per carry. This team outscored their opponents 512 to 117 and won the national championship 37-14 to secure their 5th national championship. This is the best Clemson team of all time. They went undefeated and outscored their opponents 664 to 197 and won the national championship against #1 Alabama 44-16. This team was loaded with future NFL players with 9 of their starters being picked with their QB Trevor Lawrence going 1st overall. The best player on this team was none other than Trevor Lawrence in this season he passed for 3,280 yards with 30 TDs and only 4 INTs. The other star player was Travis Etienne he rushed for 1,658 yards and had 24 rushing TDs. This team was one of the most dominant in the 2018 season and not only one of the best Clemson Tigers teams but also one of the best teams in all of college football history.

This is the best college football team of all time. This team was also the most dominant team. First of all, they went 15-0 and won the college football national championships against Clemson. They outscored their opponents 726 to 328 and in the CFP national championship, they beat Clemson 42 to 25. This team also had future NFL stars like Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Patrick Queen. On this roster, one only did some of the work it was a team effort. The leader of this team was Joe Burrow who had 5,671 passing yards, 60 passing TDs, and only 6 INTs throughout the season. On the receiving end of the ball, the leader was Ja’Marr Chase who had 1,780 receiving yards and 20 TDs. Clyde Edwards-Helaire had 1,415 rushing yards and 16 rushing TDs. This team is by far the best on this list with how good they were how much talent they had on this roster and also how dominant they were every game. This team will go down as the best in college football.

Also, some of them might say they were the best in their team’s history but they will all go down in history. The amount of talent these teams had was truly remarkable as well which is what made them the best.
