”He smells your fear. They all do. You must prove to him and the other cats that your fear won’t hold you back.” This is a really good quote from a book called Into The Wild. The “he” behind this quote I am telling you about is a cat named Rusty, that gets into a fight with a warrior. This warrior was lean and strong but rusty tore the top part of his ear off and won. He was then named Firepaw and was accepted (sort of) in the clan. Now, let’s take you into some more about the book and what you should know about.
Why I like this series:
I like this series because I love cats! I started loving them because I lived next to a neighbor who had an old cat. He didn’t like being near kids, usually because they are loud. So I went up to him slowly and started to pet him. He purred and then licked me. It gave me a warm feeling in my heart. Another reason for why I love this series is because it has action, mystery, and love. Three of my favorite genres all together and with CATS! After I got licked by a cat I wanted one for a really long time and when I got one (for free!) I loved her so very much! She was super sweet too. I had to put her in her cage so that she would learn to use the litter box. I was so sad because she really wanted to be with me. So I would open the zipper just a smidge so that I could stick my finger in and touch her comfortingly on the head. But, before I could even stick my finger in, she popped her head out and squeezed through just to sit in my lap and lick my nose! Her name is Lilac and she has an adopted son named Percy and she is the best cat in the world (along with Percy)!
Main plot:
Warrior Cats are divided into Clans, each with their own territories, skills and beliefs. They fight each other for their territories and their prey. Rogues however usually live alone or in really small groups. They aren’t as organized as the clan cats. Kittypets are soft, weak, and unworthy of being in clans because they live with the clan cat’s worst enemy twolegs. They are usually incapable of ever living in the wild (also I got this information from a cool website called warriorcats.com).
Cats to know:
Firepaw: an orange tabby tom with green eyes. He is adventurous and likes to explore. Some words to describe him are chivalrous, kind, and courageous. Graypaw: a dark gray Persian tom with yellow-orange eyes. He is kind, silly, and adventurous. Bluestar: a blue-ish moggie with ice-blue eyes. She is the leader of the Thunderclan and is kind, wise, and luminous in the moonlight.
I really love this book series and I think you should read it too if you are a cat lover like me, or if you always wondered how cats might see you. So if you want to find out more about warriors, then you should read the books or go to https://warriorcats.com! Thank you!
