I will be interviewing Layla Harter and if you want to see what she is thinking about and what’s happening in her life, read the rest of the article. Now, let the interview begin.
Where was one place that blew your mind?
Layla: Probably going to Paris.
How close was it to Kansas?
Layla: We flew 18 hours and I got to sleep on the plane and it wasn’t enjoyable.
What was the best part of Paris?
Layla: Probably going to go up the Eiffel Tower because that is something I always wanted to do and it was very cool to feel and experience that.
Was it worth going the distance?
Layla: Yes, the plane was not very enjoyable, we got there, and it was worth it.
Did you like 6th grade more than 7th?
Layla: I like 6th grade more because my mom was on my team, and I knew everybody better.
Was your favorite teacher and why?
Layla: I’d say Mrs.Dragonas or Mr Alvarez because he was fun to kid around with.
Did they help you understand the topics?
Layla: She pushed you to do the best possible she saw if you needed help and Mr. Alverez made learning fun.
How did those teachers contrast to other past teachers?
Layla: They all have been good in the past but the teachers here were understanding with the 5th to 6th grade transition.
Were they more fun than other teachers?
Layla: I liked Mrs. Mawdsley. She was my favorite teacher in elementary school, but all teachers are fun in their way.
What is the worst thing about middle school?
Layla: Just figuring out classes, how to take homework home, and just over-thinking things.
Would you rather be in elementary school?
Layla: I like elementary school, but I feel like I would stay in middle school because the older you are the more things you can do.
What is the best part about 6th grade?
Layla: Probably getting to see new people from other schools, seeing them, and hanging out with them.
Wow, it was really interesting when she said she went to Paris because I had never been there before. And the teachers she liked were really fun. Thank you Layla for letting me interview you and I hope you found the interview fun.
