Imagine you walk into a house and it’s all one big room. There is a glass balcony with a pool in the backyard. You look outside the window and see the most amazing view. You look around and see your family admiring the same view. You feel happy and curious for what’s to come.
Every year for a family vacation my grandparents take my mom’s side to a vacation house. We usually spend about 3-4 days there. We do it because it is hard to get us all together and doing this gets us together. I enjoy this trip a lot because I get to see all my cousins and spend a few days hanging out with them.
I arrived at the house with so much excitement. I walked through the door and I put my phone on the table and explored the house with my cousins. We quickly found our rooms and decided where to sleep. Right after that, we got our swimsuits on and jumped into the swimming pool.
For the past few days that is exactly what we did. I was bored a little on the 2nd day because video games, swimming, and board games were the only things we could do. It’s not like we could leave the house by ourselves. On the 3rd day, we went to get ice cream, which improved the entire trip. We did the same thing on the final day.
On the last day of the trip, we went to get ice cream and had the most fun we could, we played all the board games we could, played video games, and swam in the pool. We played tag but with flag football flags, and tried to pull the flags. If your flag got pulled you’re out.. I did not want to leave and end the fun but I didn’t have a choice.
Finally, on the last day of the vacation, we had to leave. As the days came to an end we had to say goodbye, we tried to squeeze every last second of the vacation out but the owners of the home were coming so we had to go. I said my goodbyes and we went our separate ways. I left the house feeling exhausted but satisfied with the trip. It was a blast and I can’t wait till next year.
