Have you ever had to move somewhere far away? Well, I have gone from LA to Emporia. Sometimes it makes you feel better and you are going to be in a better place. It definitely changed my life forever.
So, when I was little I was taking a nap. I woke up and I needed to be fed. My brother was making food and I was so bored and my brother was not playing with me. I told him that I wanted to move away and never come back. When my brother finished cooking he came to me and told me that we were going to McDonalds and we were going to meet my grandma. When we met her she was eating and I told my sister that the lady was her grandma and my brother said that she was my grandma too. Well, we were going to move in with her. But I didn’t know that we were going to Kansas. When we went home we started packing.
It was the next day and I had to eat before we got on the plane, so we went to–eat at the airport and we were going to eat at Dunkin Donuts. We were on the plane. It was my first time on a plane, and when we got there we needed to ride the car for two hours from Kansas City to Emporia. When we got to the house, we had to pick a room. We got ready to unpack, and when we finished unpacking we fell asleep.
The first day I was there I was so mad that we had to move. But when I first ate, I was so scared because I had never met them. I didn’t know if I would do something to make them mad or if they were going to do something bad or hurt me. In the first week, we went to eat. When we got home from eating, we went to shower. Then after that, we went to bed. When we woke up I went to see if she made anything to eat. She was cooking and eating pancakes then after we went to play.
In a month I started to go to school. I just started school. It was weird because I was super shy and everything but the day went on. I say it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. When I got back I told my grandma all about it. After school, I went to go to my uncle to help him paint and he liked it. When I went back to my grandma, I told her how I liked painting and she told me okay.
When school ended my aunt and I went to sign me up for soccer and I was very good at it. When it was my first practice my coach told me that I was super good at the sport. When soccer practice ended, I went to eat. The next day I went to soccer and I was doing great. We were going to have our first game in a couple of weeks.
If I hadn’t moved, I wouldn’t be successful in class, in school, and other things. When I moved I was so worried about people bullying me, but the people that I met were super nice. The teachers that I have are so nice and they will do nothing to make me sad or mad. I will never say that I want to move again
