Have you ever wished for fast food at school—like McDonald’s Happy Meals, KFC buckets, Wendy’s sodas, and your favorite juices—instead of boring lunches like plain cheese pizza, apples, chocolate milk, or Bosco sticks? Do you also want to know why serving fast food brings fun and joy? Today, I’ll show you how fast food gives students quick energy, it’s convenient to make, and it is very tasty. This is why schools should serve fast food.
The first reason is that Fast food gives students quick energy, helping them stay focused, and perform better in class. According to data from Monroe Township School District, “The reason for selling junk food is that it provides quick energy. It can take the place of a meal or help fill out an inadequate meal. Without snacks, students may fall asleep or have trouble paying attention in class’’. This means that students can get nutrients from those snacks and if not, students may have trouble focusing and fall asleep during class.
The next reason is that fast food is very convenient to make. All you do is just make a meat patty and chop and fry some cut potatoes. According to the Canyon Echoes, “Fast food is very convenient, especially on busy days when you don’t have time to make a big meal’’. This means that lunch ladies don’t have to make the school lunches and can just serve them right away. However, some people say that fast food can’t be served at school because many students will become obese. I know how bad it can be to continuously eat fast food and become obese. As long as the students are working out or exercising, the chances of getting obese may decrease.
The final reason is that fast food is absolutely tasty! The goodness and tastiness in every burger and fries just makes everyone’s mouth water. According to the Canyon Echoes, “The greasy burgers and crispy fries, or cheesy pizza with layers of pepperoni are appealing to almost everyone. Whatever you decide to get, fast food is tasty’’. This means that the students can have a very tasty and great day with fast food served right in front of them!
In conclusion, Fast food should be served at school. It brings fun and joy to the students, it brings quick energy, it’s convenient to make, and it’s very tasty. If you ever see your principal walking around the hallways, talk to him/her and share with them about serving fast food at school cafeterias.
