Have you ever felt like you had tape on your mouth or had chains on your hands? Well, when I’m at school and look at the people in my school sometimes I feel like that because some schools don’t allow school prayer. School prayer should be allowed because kids are allowed to pray in school because they are protected by the constitution. Also, it allows kids to be their whole self and not have to hide who they are. Finally, it helps kids to be better people and help their teacher.

The first reason that school prayer should be allowed is because kids are allowed to pray in school because they are protected by the Constitution. According to The Conversation U.S. Sep 9, 2024, “Students do have the right, within limits, to pray in school.” This means that kids can pray, but the school cannot make all the other kids do it because some argue that school prayer goes against the First Amendment.

The second reason that school prayer should be allowed is because it helps kids to be more tolerant. According to The Freedom Forum, “Diversity of religious expression is a way for students to engage with others who are different.” This means that when kids who pray talk to other kids who don’t pray, they are interacting, and increase compassion toward them.

The last reason that school prayer should be allowed is because it helps kids to be better people and help their teachers. According to The St. John Lutheran School, “Through prayer, students are often taught principles such as respect, compassion, and responsibility, which are essential in personal development.” This means that teachers can trust the kids to do things like their homework, also it helps them to get along with other kids well.

So school prayer should be allowed because it helps kids to be better people and help their teacher, it helps kids to be more tolerant, and kids should be allowed to pray in school because they are protected by the Constitution. So, if you want to allow school prayer then talk to your principal about the importance of school prayer. I think that the most important thing is that people should have the right to pray because it’s a part of them.
