Imagine that you’re sitting by a fire, in a wood-burning stove, with a cup of hot chocolate, and you wonder what other people do on Christmas. Well, today I am going to answer that question. Some of our traditions are silly, cool, crazy! But I digress.
One of the family traditions that I and my family do is we do something called Fudge Tasting. That is when we buy 5 blocks of fudge from the Sweet Granada and we go home and we all put on a blindfold and get fed a small piece of the fudge, so we don’t know what block of fudge we’re eating, and you have to rely on your taste buds to get the correct answer.
Another Christmas tradition that we do is we eat… Drum roll please… LEFSE! What, you don’t know what it is? Well, it is a type of food that is like flatbread but very thin, it’s cooked, and you eat it with butter and sugar. Lefse is a type of food that is a Norwegian food that they eat, which means I’m part Norwegian.
Another Christmas tradition that my family does is we look at Christmas lights. Some houses are very colorful and Christmasy. I could go on for a very long time, but I’m going to make it short. Those are some of my Christmas traditions that I do with my family.
