Today I am going to give you my top 5 Alen Gratz books. Alan Graz writes amazing books filled with action, happiness, sadness, adventure, real-life problems, and history. I love his books because he brings attention to real-life problems and history in such a fun and creative way of writing that makes you realize how the world used to be and how the world is now. 

Number.5 Project 1065. 

This book is about Michael O’Shaunessey and his family of ireland spies. This book is full of suspense as Michael tries to keep his cover in Nazi Germany. This book is on the list because I personally love the story and how it shows his struggles and happiness. Projekt 1065 came out on October 11, 2016.  

Number.4 Ground zero. 

Ground Zero is about a boy named Brandon who is at the World Trade Center on the day of 9/11. It is also about Reshmina who is in her own version of 9/11 in present time (2019) Afghanistan with the war going on. This book is on the list because it hits you hard with emotions and tells important stories of a very tragic day. This book came out on February 2, 2021. 

Number.3 Code Of Honor. 

This book is about Kamran Smith and his brother who got taken and labeled a terrorist and he has to solve the clues to get his brother out. This book is action-packed. This book is on the list because it has a good and twisty plot line that is always changing and keeping you engaged. This book came out on August 25, 2015. 

 Number.2 Refugee 

This book is about 3 different kids who have to leave their homes to get a better life. This one also ties together nicely at the end. This book is on the list because it tells 3 different stories in a very creative way, but also he does such a good job in making sure all of them stay connected. This book came out on July 25, 2017. 

Number.1 Heroes. 

Heroes is about Frank McCoy and Stanley Summer (whose mother is Japanese American). During the Pearl Harbor attack they were on a boat that capsized when the bombing started, and they had to make a daring escape. This book is number one on the list because it talks about an important moment in history and tells it in such a compelling way that you can’t put the book down. This book came outon  February 6, 2024
