5. David Ortiz
Number 5 on the list is David Ortiz. He was signed in 1997 to the Minnesota Twins and his debut was September 2nd, 1997. He played for 2 teams, the Twins and Boston Red Sox. 2. Lou Gehrig
Number 2 on this list is Lou Gehrig. He signed with the New York Yankees (1923-39) and debuted on June 15, 1923. He has only played for one team and that is the Yankees for 16 years. Stats from when he played are On-base plus slugging 1.080, which is very rare to have an OPS over 1,000. He played 16 years and had 2,721 hits, 493 home runs, RBIs 1,995. Honors that he earned are Two-time MVP (1927, ’36), Triple Crown (’34), seven-time All-Star (’33-39), Hall of Fame 1939. Some stuff about him are that he played with Babe Ruth.
