Have you ever wondered what a cheerleader’s favorite cheers are? Do you have a favorite cheer? If you have wondered, then this story is for you. I will be telling you my top 5 favorite cheers and why I like them.

My 5th favorite cheer has to be the “Red, Black, Let’s go”. This cheer is about the school’s spirit and mascot colors. It took me less than 5 minutes to learn that cheer because it only has 3 movements. Other people like it because it gets the crowd excited and the cheerleaders are really loud on this cheer. This made the list because it’s really fun to do and watch others do it.

My 4th favorite cheer is “ Let’s Go Big Red”. This cheer is about cheering on the Spartans by saying the school’s color. It took me around 10-15 minutes to learn it because it’s pretty easy, but it has more moves than some of the other cheers. Other people like it because the movements look really cool when you’re in the crowd watching the cheerleaders. This made the list because I love saying this cheer and doing all the movements.

My 3rd favorite cheer has to be “Rowdy”. This cheer is about telling the crowd to get excited while watching the players on the court. It took me around 10-15 minutes to learn because there weren’t a lot of moves, but I learned it at the beginning so I was new at learning cheers. Other people like it because we get to talk to the crowd and get them excited. This made the list because it’s cool seeing all the cheerleaders on the court doing the cheer.

My 2nd favorite cheer is “Victory”. This cheer is about the team winning the game and we are celebrating the win. It took me probably 10 minutes to learn because the moves repeat a lot. Other people like doing it because it means we won the game and the moves are really fun to do. It made the list because I like celebrating the Spartans wins.

My top favorite cheer has to be the “Emporia Fight Song”. This cheer is the cheerleaders dancing to the band play a song. It took me multiple days to learn because it’s pretty long and it’s really fast. Other people like doing it because it’s really fun to watch because it’s long. It made this list because when you are in the stands watching all the cheerleaders it looks really cool.
