Have you ever wanted to watch a cop show? In this story, I’m going to tell you what three to watch. The first one is The Rookie, the second one is 911, and the third one is Brooklyn Nine Nine. I’m going to talk about the basic plot, some characters, comparing how similar the show is to actual cops, and how to access it.
The first show is The Rookie. The Rookie has 115 episodes and is split up into 7 seasons. The Rookie is about how the cops do their jobs and how they interact with different distress calls. Some of the episodes are entertaining and it’s cool to see how all the different works and how people react to the cops being called for them. Some of them are unexpected because it’s like the people getting arrested are really innocent. So it’s amazing seeing all the different ways and reasons that people get arrested. The main plot is that most of the cops go on patrol and they all get called to different locations to try to get the people that they were called for to calm them down. Some of the characters in The Rookie are John Nolan, Tim Bradford, Lucy Chen, Angela Lopez, and Nyla Harper. The Rookie is probably the most accurate to actual police officers out of the three shows. They are loosely based on true stories. If you’re wondering how to access it it’s on Hulu, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime.
The second show is 9-1-1. 9-1-1 is kind of like The Rookie but it also involves more firefighters. It also takes place in L.A. just like The Rookie. 9-1-1 has 116 episodes that are split up into 8 seasons. The basic plot for 9-1-1 is first responders involving police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers. It’s basically they show the lives of how 9-1-1 responders live and how they go to different houses and save the people in need and they also show some of the police officers families and how they live together. They show how firefighters, police officers, and paramedics do their job. Some of the characters in 9-1-1 are Evan Buckley but he goes by Buck, Maddie Han, Eddie Diaz, Bobby Nash, and Howie Han. Bobby is the captain for the fire station; he also accidentally started a fire while trying to make cookies. Howie, he’s a firefighter paramedic. 9-1-1 is inspired by real-life events and emergencies on things that have happened. In conclusion for this paragraph this is an accurate show. You can access it on Hulu, Prime Video, ABC, and fuboTV.
The last show is Brooklyn Nine-Nine. This show is kinda like a sitcom so It’s a fictional show so it’s not based on real events that have happened. It takes place in New York. It’s about how detectives work and it shows some of their relationships. Some of the characters in Brooklyn Nine-Nine are Lieutenant Terry Jeffords, Captain Ray Holt, Jake Peralta, and Gina Linetti. Lieutenant Terry Jeffords is a strong and smart person he is always able to inspire and support his family and team he is in general an amazing person. Captain Roy Holt, he had dedication to justice. Jake Peralta has an amazing ability to solve cases. Gina Linetti predicted things from the future. This show is fictional because they mostly made the things up and aren’t true. Like most police officers, they spend most of their time on paperwork. You can access it on Hulu, Netflix, Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video.
In conclusion, The Rookie and 9-1-1 are the two that are based on true stories and Brooklyn Nine-Nine is fictional. These shows show how dangerous and how rewarding it can be to be a cop. So, even though it can be scary, it’s worth it in the end because then you will see how thankful people are that you saved either them or their kids and they won’t ever forget it and you will feel good about yourself and how many people were saved because of you.
