Have you ever had to give up something for a family member? Have you ever gotten something broken by a family member? Has your little brother or sister taken something from you? My family has broken so many things that I decided to make an entire story about it. From minor things like a two-dollar toy from Dollar General to expensive electronics; from so many doors, I don’t know why doors, and, surprisingly, no windows…well, only like one or two. But now it’s time to get to the list story.
The first thing on my long list is a drone from Walmart. It cost 20 dollars. My mom and I wanted to try and get an overview of the stray cats in my neighborhood. My mom and I set up the camera with the app, and we got the drone up and flying. But next my mom and I got a little too close to the tree, and then one of the wings got stuck in a tree branch. Then the worst happened. The feed got cut and we ran outside. Lo and behold, our drone is laid out in pieces everywhere. Looks like sticks and stones can break more than just bones; Like my drone and my happiness. But it was all my mom’s fault. Completely not my fault, even a little bit.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you took away the door hinge of a door? Well, I broke it by being slingshotted at it with my spine destroying it. We were playing in my grandma’s room 20 minutes before My cousins and I wanted to fight in my grandma’s room. Two other cousins were playing a game Call Of Duty there. When we started fighting we broke a door hinge that was 50 bucks and we got scared because technically it was all our fault…but mostly mine because I was the one who broke it by being flung like an actual slingshot into the wall. The person that flung me was my cousin Terrick. He is usually the trouble causer. We all had to scatter because the other hinge was barely hanging and the door was already slammed to the ground. I and Terrick tried fixing it but it was too late. Grandma got home and I didn’t get the blame because I was innocent and not just because I was the youngest but also because. I was crying in a pool of my own tears with a giant bruise on my back and something red on my head when she looked at my hair a little closer she saw a giant red pool of blood coming out of my head because my grandmas floor is tile in that room and my head slammed into it with full force of the fall
Have you ever had so much anger and rage? My cousin Logan, he is not the one in this school but one in another town, and Terrick, still being just terrible, had been doing stupid stuff. They were playing games until an idea popped into their head. Now I’m just getting this from a few phone calls, but apparently they decided they were going to punch the wall. And they put a pretty decent hole in the wall. But anyways, they said oh no we are going to be beaten until we can’t move, so they cover it with a picture of a Chick-fil-a and a poster saying eat more cows. And it was bad in the first place so they are in big trouble with his parents now.
That was everything. Not everything that was broken, but everything I feel like sharing here. I didn’t go into the story about the thousand-dollar TV or another TV that got a crack from a bat. Looking back, I feel pretty stupid that I didn’t learn my lesson about breaking stuff. Try and learn from your mistakes, because if you don’t learn from your mistakes you could make them over and over again, and you don’t know who might get hurt from those mistakes.
