As you drive through your neighborhood you notice your neighbor’s Christmas light display. As you look at the colorful lights, thoughts of the Christmas season fill your mind. You see giant inflatable snowman and reindeer. As you drive by, gazing at the dazzling lights, you wonder, “Where are some good places to find some really neat Christmas light displays?” Well, to answer that question, I am going to tell you about some really awesome Christmas displays I have seen in Wichita KS. The three Christmas displays I will talk about are Lights On Candy Cane Lane, Marshall Family Christmas Lights, and Lights On The Lake.

Lights On Candy Cane Lane

Lights On Candy Cane Lane is a really neat display that is located on 1021 N Azure Cir, Wichita, KS. For this display, the whole neighborhood participates to create amazing Christmas light displays. Often, the curbs along the street are lined with Christmas lights to make it like a Christmas light path. You can drive through the neighborhood or even walk through it. On top of that, you can view the whole neighborhood for free. From giant candy cane lights, to nativity scenes, this street is always getting into the Christmas Spirit.

Marshall Family Christmas Display

I remember this display when I lived up in the Wichita area and it will blow you away. This amazing display is located on 620 N. Stratford St, Wichita, KS. This is just a display at one house and it has holiday trains, Santa’s sleigh on the roof, There is almost no space left to put anymore Christmas lights. This display also has lots of inflatable decorations. They even have snowflake Christmas lights on the roof. The roof is always lined with an assortment of different lights. This is a popular display in Wichita. Again, there is no fee, but if you have old Christmas lights then feel free to donate them to this display.

Lights On The Lake

Lights On The Lake is my favorite display in Wichita. It is located on 8700 East 29th St N, Wichita, KS. This is a display that you drive through in your car. I am not sure if there is a fee but you should at least donate to support Heartspring, which has been helping kids with special needs. This display is full of fun decorations and colorful lights. You can also stop in the Hospitality Center to visit Santa. Lights On The Lake is a display that is connected to music. Just turn your radio to 89.7 FM and watch as the colorful, holiday displays blink and flash along to the Christmas music.
