3 Apps to Help Stay Healthy

Do you want to become healthier? There are some apps out there that can help you out with your health. https://www.myfitnesspal.com/ , http://www.charitymiles.org/  , and https://www.sleepcycle.com/

My FitNess Pal,  “is a free smartphone app and website that tracks diet and exercise to determine optimal caloric intake and nutrients for the users’ goals and uses gamification elements to motivate users” (Wikipedia). Users can scan barcodes of food items or add them in manually to track what they eat and how many calories they eat in a day.

Charity Miles is another app that can help you with your health. Charity Miles is a free app for IOS and Android.  If you’re motivated by helping others, this app helps you earn money while you run or bike for a charity. You will donate 10 cents to a charity a mile for biking and 25 cents a mile for running or walking.

Do you have trouble finding out how much you sleep at night? Sleep cycle is: “An intelligent alarm clock that analyzes your sleep and wakes you in the lightest sleep phase – the natural way to wake up feeling rested and relaxed. No need to place your device in bed – Sleep Cycles uses sound analysis sleep tracking” (App store). If you have the IPhone X or the IPhone 8 you can have the app track your heart rate.

I hope these apps help you become healthier. I think that if you have trouble sleeping you should use Sleep Cycle. If you like to raise money you can walk, run, or ride your bike to help a charity in need.
