Kaylee Lane is a 12-year-old student at Emporia Middle School. Kaylee has just entered the 7th grade. She is a very outgoing person who doesn’t hide who she is no matter what people tell her. Here is a glimpse into her life.

Kaylee enjoys going to school. She really enjoys seeing her teachers and friends. Her favorite class is World Studies. This class is taught by Mr. Hawley, who is also her favorite teacher because “he is a funny teacher and his lesson plans are fun.”

Kaylee has three sisters, with the names of Kenna, Chaena, and Bri. When Kaylee is at home, she enjoys watching Bob’s Burgers. Her favorite movie is Three Generations. But, when she isn’t watching her shows she’s jamming out to her favorite band Why Don’t We. “It’s hard to choose which one of their songs is my favorite, but I would have to say Trust Fund Baby is my favorite song by [Why Don’t We].”

Another interesting thing about Kaylee is her ring. “My birthday was coming up, and it was February and usually my mom usually gives me money for my birthday.  But, I saw this ring on Snapchat and told my mom I wanted it for my birthday. It’s also my sister’s birthstone. It’s very special to me since my mom doesn’t live with me, and I don’t get to see her often, so I wear it everyday.”

Here are some other interesting facts about Kaylee Lane. A major fact about Kaylee is that she loves chocolate. “I would eat chocolate everyday” says Kaylee, then she adds “But, I would have to say Oreo’s are my favorite”.

One of Kaylee’s dreams is to go to Paris, since she loves to travel. “My room is completely Paris themed.” The most interesting place Kaylee has been is Glenwood Springs, Colorado. “While I was in Glenwood Springs, I visited my Aunt (Dawn), my Uncle (Bobby), and my cousin (Kaeley)”.  Then one very different question for last. Kaylee’s favorite superhero is Batman. “I really like Batman because Kenna’s girlfriend (Brittany) really likes Batman.”

All together, Kaylee is an amazing and interesting person. She is very different from a normal girl. If you asked her, I bet you she would tell you more about her life story. I really enjoyed interviewing Kaylee and learning so many new things about her.
