Dave Holland was a valued member of the Olpe, Kansas community who filled our hearts will joy every time we saw him. In order to honor his life the Olpe community created the Dave Holland Youth Hunt to keep the memory of him going. The most recent hunt occurred on the 5th and 6th of January at a shooting range in preparation for the hunt. The organizers of this gathering bought food from the Olpe Chicken House. They also organized a .22 rifle competition and draw where the winner took home hunting supplies and or a .22 Henry Rifle, worth nearly 700 dollars. After these events the hunters and guides were released to their hunting grounds which resulted in 8/12 hunters killing a doe.
