Spring Break is not what it used to be a while back. Back in the day, Spring Break was a big thing for farmers. They would spend their time plowing fields checking all the health of fields so that in June and July their crops are ready to grow and harvest later on in the year. But nowadays, people travel in planes across the world and country to visit family and relax with friends. Kids in Emporia love this break because we get days off of school and are free to hang out with friends.
