March 1st through March 31st is Women’s History Month. The holiday began as National Women’s Week, but became a month with the help of former president, Jimmy Carter. He stated in the official Presidential letter, “But the achievements, leadership, courage, strength and love of the women who built America was as vital as that of the men whose names we know so well.” These words have inspired women to be who they want to be and never back down from a challenge. As taken from a fellow classmate, Jasmine Grundleger ,“My mother is the hardest working person I know. She works two full time jobs and still has the time to spend with her family.”
