On Friday the fifteenth during second block, Emporia Middle School had an Assembly in their gym. All 7th and 8th graders attended the assembly. There were people who came in that were part of community help like child SOS. Electronic safety was the assembly’s topic. The presentation talked about sexting and what dangers sexting can lead to. It also talked about cyberbullying and what to do when it happens. Then there was just plain electronic and internet safety. Afterward, the students asked questions to the detective. Hopefully, everyone will be aware and stay safe.
